How to record a Bottling direct action
Bottling actions can be recorded from the web interface on a computer or tablet.
From the Lot Details page, select the Bottle action from the dropdown.
Select your lot and vessel(s), and adjust the ending fill of each vessel as necessary. (Note: InnoVint defaults to remove the entire volume.)
Next, select your bottling formats.
InnoVint defaults to the Standard 750 mL bottle type. Use the dropdown to select other format options, including large formats, kegs, cans, beer and cider bottles.
Enter the number of bottles per case, number of full cases, and number of additional bottles. These values are required to calculate the total volume bottled, but can be zero (0).
TIP: For kegs or large format bottles, you can enter 0 for the number of bottles per case and total cases. This indicates that your "bottles" are stand-alone containers.
Other optional bottling information can be entered including details about glass, closure, foil, labels, and cases per pallet.
To add additional formats in the same bottling run, click on under the Formats section header.
After you have entered all of your bottling numbers and information, review the Bottling Summary.
Bottle Formats will list the format type and number of pallets, cases, and bottles to determine the total number of bottles and bottled volume. Volume will outline the total volume removed from your lot, and the total volume bottled. The difference is calculated as an inventory loss on the TTB report.
The Lot Stage will default to Bottled. If you are only bottling a partial volume of your lot, we recommend un-checking this box.
InnoVint defaults to archive any lot that no longer has contents. Uncheck the Archiving box to keep the lot active after the entire volume is depleted.
Backdate the action if necessary, and click to submit the action.

How to edit a recorded Bottling action
Go to the recorded Bottling action via the Bottling Report, Lot Details history, or Winery Activity Feed.
Click to change the details of the bottling action.
You can edit one or more values or entries for the bottling format. For example, you can change the total cases, or add information about the labels used.
WARNING: Editing the bottles per case, number of cases, and/or number of bottles will change the total bottled volume and the total inventory gains or losses calculated by InnoVint. This will change the bottled volume and inventory gains and losses on the TTB 5120.17 report as well.
FAQ
Q. Can I bottle more than one lot in an action?
A. No. Each Bottling action or task can only record bottling for one lot at a time. A single lot can be bottled into multiple formats. See above.
To assign multiple lots for bottling, you can also create multiple tasks in a work order - one for each lot to bottle.
