Features/Improvements
Appellation Roll-up
We've just made it easier for California wineries to aggregate lot composition across smaller but overlapping geographic groupings. If your lot components come from a variety of smaller appellations, such as some of the seventeen sub AVAs that exist within the Napa Valley AVA, InnoVint will now show the total that "rolls up" - into the larger appellation.
View this "roll-up" on the Lot details page > Composition tab, or export it by clicking on the new "export percentages" button. Get more details on how this works here!
Not in California, and interested? Let us know!
Bonus! We've also cleaned up the Lot Composition percentages. Now, insignificant blend component amounts (<0.001%) are combined into an 'Other' category on screen. This change extends to Blend Trials to make for a tidier page!
FINANCE & Reporting usability improvements
More data on the Fruit Cost Worksheet
They've always been on the export, but now you can gain instant context with block and vineyard tags now visible onscreen—enabling better sorting, and streamlining cost application.
Did you know? The search field on the Fruit Cost Worksheet matches text from the block name, vineyard name, grower, variety and also block and vineyard tags!
Date range filter added to Cost Item Report
When you are reconciling your indirect costs, try out the new date filter on the Cost Item Report to easily filter for one or more specific cost categories within the desired period.
Cost Audit Report now includes Lot name, owner, bond, and tags columns
To allow greater flexibility and filter capability when reconciling, new columns give you the flexibility to slice and dice data for targeted cost analysis. You can now find the lot name, bond, owner and tags on the Cost Audit Report export.
Bottling Report updated for multiple bonds and owners
Track bottling across bonds and owners with ease! The Bottling Report export now includes the bond (associated to the bulk and bottled lot) and owner (of both the Juice/Wine Lot and Case Good lot) to make it easier to report on specific locations and owners.
More data in the Vessel at Point in Time Report
As we move to improve the Vessel at Point in Time Report, you can now access additional vessel details within that report. Now, find columns for:
- Date of Vessel Creation: know how long you've been storing that barrels!
- Lot Owner: filter for vessels containing wine for a specific owner, or check for lot/vessel owner mismatches!
- Vessel Type: Just reviewing tank fills or barrel usage? Use the new vessel type column
Making things more efficient
Save a click! Quicker work order printing
Access work orders immediately after creation from the new confirmation message link.
Tank Maps - Save X-Ray view option with camera settings
We've refreshed the camera setting function in Tank Maps, and we've made it easier and more intuitive to create new positions, and edit/delete or favorite existing positions.
Even cooler, you can now save a camera position in X-Ray mode!
Bill of Lading usability improvements
Reducing manual steps: we made a few small changes to BOL functionality:
- Let's be honest... on all BOLs, the radio button for "Contains sulfites" now defaults to "Yes"
- When you perform a Remove Taxpaid (Case Goods) action, and generate a BOL, the radio option now defaults to "Taxpaid = Yes"
- When you generate a BOL for Case Goods that have contents, the BOL will automatically populate the case count
New Lab Source for Washington State!
If you work with our partner, Columbia Valley Wine Lab, you can now select that lab as your analysis source.
Bug Fixes
- Analysis Panel Issues: The temperature unit (i.e. F) in template panels was not respecting last temperature unit used and changing to celsius. Your preferred unit now sticks—ensuring consistency and avoiding confusion
