InnoVint + AgCode integration
InnoVint partners with AgCode to connect your weight scale directly to your winery's InnoVint account. When fruit crosses the scale, AgCode automatically creates a Fruit Lot in InnoVint and records the receiving weight for you — no manual data entry required.

What does the AgCode integration do?
AgCode's weigh scale hardware talks directly to InnoVint. As fruit is weighed in at the scale, the integration:
- Automatically creates a new Fruit Lot in InnoVint for the load
- Posts a Receive Fruit action to that Fruit Lot with the weight captured by the scale and the AgCode weigh tag number
This removes the need to manually create a Fruit Lot and enter weights by hand every time a load comes in. It replaces InnoVint's Advanced Receive Fruit feature, operating under the "Simple" Receive Fruit action principles.
What's required
- An active AgCode account and compatible weight scale hardware at your winery
- Please check with your AgCode representative if your version is compatible
- A unique block code set up in AgCode for each block you're receiving fruit from in InnoVint
- Each block code must be unique in your winery (Arielle's Vineyard, Block 1 and McKenna's Vineyard, Block 1 are not unique)
-
- Each block code in InnoVint will map 1:1 to the block code in your AgCode account
- Simple Receive Fruit in InnoVint - you may not use Advanced Receive Fruit.
How receiving works
- Each block code will map 1:1 to a Fruit Lot in InnoVint.
- Every load weighed in against a block code posts a Receive Fruit action with the weight to the AgCode generated Fruit Lot in InnoVint.
- Only the Simple Receive Fruit action is supported through this integration — it records weight only. Any additional receiving details (such as MOG deductions, sugar/Brix, or other lab numbers) need to be added manually in InnoVint after the fact.
- Multiple picks: If a Fruit Lot has already been archived and more fruit comes in against the same block code (for example, a second pick day), AgCode automatically unarchives the Fruit Lot so the new weight can be posted to it. You won't end up with duplicate Fruit Lots for the same block.

FAQ
Q: Do I need to create the Fruit Lot in InnoVint myself?
A: No. Once the integration is set up, AgCode creates the Fruit Lot automatically when fruit is weighed in.
Q: Can AgCode record anything besides weight?
A: No. AgCode only posts a Simple Receive Fruit action with weight. Any other receiving details need to be added manually in InnoVint.
Q: I have a second pick coming in for a block I already received — do I need a new Fruit Lot?
A: No. If the original Fruit Lot was archived, AgCode will automatically unarchive it so the new weight posts to the same Fruit Lot.
Q: Does my AgCode block code need to match a Vineyard in InnoVint?
A: Yes. The block code in InnoVint should match the block name in AgCode.
Q: Who do I contact if the integration isn't working?
A: AgCode owns and supports this integration — reach out to them directly rather than InnoVint Support.
