InnoApp - AI Reporting (Beta)

The AI Reporting feature in InnoApp lets you ask questions—using text or voice—and instantly generate lot-level reports across your winery data. Instead of manually searching in the mobile Lot Explorer, and clicking into individual lots, you can describe what you want to see (for example, “Show me all my aging Pinots with pH and last sulfur date”) and InnoApp will return a structured, scrollable table of results.

This feature uses AI to interpret your request and securely query your existing InnoVint data, including lot attributes, volumes, vessels, most recent actions, and analysis results.

How do I get AI Reporting?

An account admin must use the InnoVint AI settings page to opt into InnoVint AI, and then request to activate AI early release features.    These can be activated on a user by user basis.

To activate AI Reporting, email support@innovint.us, or use the early access request link in the Innovint AI Settings page.

A Beta release: what to expect

This feature is in Beta — it works well for the use cases described below, but there are still scenarios it doesn't yet handle, and data it can't access. Beta usage — including requests that don't work — helps us determine what to refine and where to expand next.

Where to find AI Reporting

  1. From the InnoApp Home page, look at the first row of Quick Actions.

  2. Click Create AI Report.

  3. The Create AI Report feature opens.

How to Create AI Reports (text or voice)

You can enter your request in two ways: via text or voice.

  • For text: click into the text field, and type your request, or for voice: tap the microphone button and speak your request naturally.

  • Describe your request including:

    • Which lots you want

    • Any filters (stage, varietal, tax class, bond, etc.)

    • Which data you want to see (analyses, actions, composition, costs)

  • Tap or click on Create AI Report when finished

You can request lots matching any lot attributes (for example, stage, tax class, or bond) and also ask to see specific columns of data (for example, analysis results or composition).

Understanding your AI Report results

After generation, results appear in a report view with three main sections.

1. User request

This section displays the exact request you entered (including voice-to-text results).

2. Finding attributes

This section shows:

  • The AI-generated interpretation of your request

  • The total number of results found

3. Find Lots from Query

The table displays all matching lots and automatically adds columns based on your request.

Column order:

  1. Lot code

  2. Vessels

  3. Contents
  4. Requested data columns

    • Other columns are added dynamically based on your prompt

    • Examples:

      • “Show me my aging Pinots” → Lots, Vessels, Contents, Stage (aging), Varietal (Pinot Noir)

      • “Show me all my reds with Brix greater than 10” → Lots, Vessels, Contents, Brix

      • "Show me my fermenting 2025 lots and most recent two brix results" → Lots, Vessels, Contents, Brix 1, Brix 2
Requesting Analysis Data
  • When you request analysis data (for example, pH, Brix, Alcohol, VA), each requested analysis includes the analysis value and the Effective At date and time.

  • You may request between 1–5 recent results per analysis.

Requesting Action-based data

These results are based on data that populates your Custom Reports. You can request a lot report based on some actions such as "First Filled" or the "Last Action", but it will not provide the history of actions for a lot, or pull a report based on historic actions.

Next steps - AI Reporting actions

At the bottom of the results view, you can choose:

  • Done – Close the report

  • New – Generate a new AI Report

  • Refine – Modify the current request without starting over

Refine an existing search

Click Refine to adjust your current report.

What happens when you refine

  • The search field reopens.

  • A new Original request section appears at the top.

  • You can add instructions such as:

    • Adding columns

    • Narrowing the lot list

    • Changing filters or sort order

The report regenerates using the original request plus your new refinement

Example:

Original: “Show me all my fermenting whites with Brix greater than 10”

Update: "Please include the last three results"

The User Request section will display the combined history for clarity.

The table will include any expanded results, or filter out any unwanted data.

Results may include an interactive graph for visualization.

Tips for best results

  • Be specific about what you want to see (columns) and filter (criteria).

  • All columns available in Custom Reports can be requested through Search Lots.
  • You can ask for both analysis data and recent actions in the same request.

  • Start broad, then use Refine to narrow results.

  • Voice and text requests support the same capabilities.

Example prompts

  • “Show me all my aging lots with last sulfur date, last topping date, pH, free SO₂, and VA.”

  • “Which lots have a VA over 0.3 g/L?”

  • “Show the last five Brix and Temp values for Lot XYZ including dates.”

  • “Show me all lots that haven’t been topped in the last 3 months.”

 FAQ

Q: I'm looking for analysis on my set of bottled lots - why won't it come up?

A: AI Reporting is based on Custom Report data, and similarly does not support requests on archived lots, fruit lots or case good lots.

Q: Does AI understand languages other than english?

A: Requests in other languages are supported: "Muéstrame el último azufre en todos mis blancos fermentados"
